Liposuction
Liposuction, also known as lipoplasty ("fat modeling") or liposculpture suction lipectomy is a cosmetic surgery operation that removes fat from many different parts of human body. Areas affected can range from the abdomen, thighs and buttocks, to the neck, backs of the arms and elsewhere. Lipo suction is not a substitute for weight loss, but a method to remove located fat deposits which don't responde to diet nor exercise.
If you are considering the possibility of undergoing a liposuction, you will get information about the surgery, when is it indicated, how is it performed and what results you can expect from it. Nevertheless it is necessary to get a personal diagnosis, since many answers can only be answered considering specific personal factors and your plastic surgeon's experience and recommendations.

Abdominoplasty (Tummy tuck)
This surgery consists in removing excess of abdominal skin and
fat, and correcting muscle flabbiness. This situation is common in patients who have had gained and then lost important weight amounts, or in women who have had several children. Abdominoplasty makes a flatter, harder abdomen and a smaller waist.
Operation is made using general anesthesia. Surgon makes an incison above pubic hair, which prolongs to hips. Abdomen skin is separated from muscle, and if required, reinforcement sutures are used to tighten abdominal muscles. Excess skin is removed.
After the surgery, the patient is required to put a special compression clothing, reinforced with a bandage, depending on each individual case. Scars around navel and on lower abdomen will heal as time passes. In some cases, depending on the patient's skin, it's necessary to correct the remaining scar in order to make it smaller or softer. This correction is made using local anesthesia.
Possible post surgical complications can be: Skin necrossis which can require a longer post-operatory treatment.

Breast Surgeries
Breast Augmentation
This procedure improves size and shape of woman's breast after pregnancy, to correct saggy breasts or different sized breasts.
Breast size is augmented by inserting implants under the gland or under the pectoral muscle.
Breast Reduction
In this procedure, fat, mammary tissue and skin are removed, making breasts smaller, lighter and firmer. Areola size can also be reduced. Women with big breasts can have several problems like back/neck ache, skin soaring under the breast and respiratory problems. Reduction mammaplasty focuses on making breasts smaller and more proportional to body shape.
Breast Lift
Mastopexy is a procedure that lifts and improves shape of saggy breasts. Aging, pregnancy, breastfeeding and gravity make the breast to droop. Breast lift can correct this. In cases where the breast has also lost volume, an implant can be used in order to recover its youthful shape. Areola can also be reduced if required.

Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is a medical term that comes from the Greek word used to define "similar to female breast". Although it is unusual to hear men talk about this problem, it is now quite common. Gynecomastia is estimated to affect 40-60% of men. It can affect one breast or both. Though certain drugs or medications and certain medical problems may be linked to male breast overdevelopment, in most cases there is no known cause. For men concerned about their appearance, breast reduction may be useful. The procedure removes fat and glandular tissue from the breasts, and in extreme cases excess skin is also removed, resulting in a flat, firm and well contoured chest. |
FACIAL SURGERIES
Blepharoplasty
Eyelid surgery, technically known as blepharoplasty, is a procedure to remove fat and excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. Blepharoplasty can correct drooping eyelids and remove bags from the lower eyelid, which make us look older and more tired than we are, and, in some cases, droopy eyelids can interfere with vision. However, blepharoplasty does not remove "crow's feet" or other wrinkles, or drooping eyebrows. It can be performed alone or with other cosmetic surgeries on the face, such as cervicofacial facelift or forehead lift. |
Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is the surgery that reshapes the nose. It is one of the most frequently performed surgical procedures in plastic surgery. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of the nose, reshape the tip or the back, narrowing the nostrils or change the angle between the nose and upper lip. Also corrects gongenital problems, trauma injuries and respiratory problems.

Otoplasty
Otoplasty is a surgical procedure intended to reposition protruding ears to a more normal, closer to the head position, or to reduce the size of large ears. Generally, it is safe to perform this surgery on children between 4 and 14 years. Otoplasty can also be performed in adults, with no major risks in this age.

Face Lift
As we age, the effects of gravity, sun exposure and everyday life stress are shown on our faces. Deep wrinkles appear between the nose and mouth, cheeks fall, fat and wrinkles appear around the neck. A cervicofacial lifting can reduce the most visible signs of aging, tensing facial muscles, removing excess fat and redistributing the skin of the face and neck. Facelift can be an procedure or it can be associated with other surgeries, such as blepharoplasty or rhinoplasty. Forehead lift corrects drooping eyebrows and wrinkles on the forehead and eyebrows. |
Facial contouring
Facial implants are used to improve facial contour. Frequently, these implants will help provide a more harmonious balance to your facial features so that you feel better about their appearance.
There are many implants available, manufactured with a wide variety of materials. These implants can straighten out the jaw line, advancing a chin or cheekbones, helping to balance the rest of the face. |
Mentoplasty
Chin surgery or mentoplasty, is one of the most common plastic surgeries. It can improve the end of the jaw, which is one of the most important features of the face. It can enhance a little chin to show a stronger personality, or a too prominent chin can be reduced, softening its features. It can also correct facial asymmetry in a simple procedure.

Surgery for baldness - Hair implants
There are several techniques used to correct baldness, but they all basically involve the transfer of patient's own hair from areas that have an adequate number of hair follicles to less populated areas. Hair grafts are usually taken from the scalp in the region around his neck. On frontal areas, 1-2 hair follicles are inserted in the scalp and in the middle regios, 3 or 4 follicles grafts are used. In larger areas or burn scars, scalp flaps can be used. |
